An individual can only "commit fraud" up to 2000€ or 30 sales per year, since beyond either of those thresholds everything is passed on to the tax authorities...

you seem to have forgotten this part of the changes, which is just as radical:
"the removal of transaction fees (final value fee and regulatory operating fees) for private sellerswhose eBay account is registered with an address in the European Economic Area, when they sell an item on ebay.fr;"
Listing fee and buyer protection …. eBay was already protecting its buyers before, and without fees ….
If they decide to no longer charge fees for listing, that's a different thing …
Sellers can include the fees in their sale price, and others make it so that it's an extra price applied by eBay .
It's a bad way to present things and is at the very least dishonest, if not clumsy . They're not going to protect any more than before anyway . They're hoping for more listings

the report was that, as you had made your post, you seemed to be "complaining" about these protection fees that made your PV go up.
So I simply told you that this was largely offset by the fact that you no longer had transaction fees as a private seller.
Now, as for the merits of this new buyer protection, we do agree that it absolutely adds nothing more than what already exists.
