Payment or VAT for my purchase
Paid IN US$ including $56 for French TVA.
LA Poste also demanded 45€ before delivery.
Id this normal and how do I get one or other refunded?

OP2 weeks agoThanks for your efforts to help me.
I think the info you pointed me to should help someone experienced.
I received my first purchase and found myself obliged to pay VAT even though eBay declared that it had collected it in the amount I paid (postage and VAT included)
My problem is this - how and to whom should I ask for a refund, either of the 56 dollars or the 45 €.
Thanks for your advice and patience with a beginner on the sea of unknown rules and procedures.
