How do I know whether I’ll have to pay customs fees or not?
Hello
I bought an item from the USA for an amount of 40 euros (VAT included) and I’d like to know whether there are customs fees to pay or not?
+ do you have any idea how many days the parcel takes to arrive in France?

@isghas-0
There aren't any set amounts for doing the calculations?
VAT
the VAT fees, you know them since they're included in the price (generally speaking, they are 20% for imports)
CUSTOMS
By reading the link provided by @*miss-tigri* you would have noticed this sentence :
"No customs duty is due if the value of the goods is less than 150 euros.".
CLEARANCE FEES
Which are the service fees charged by the carrier,
you need to find out the amount and ask them, or maybe look it up on the internet.
best regards

·3 years agoHello
When eBay is not responsible for collecting VAT, the amount of VAT and customs duties will be determined when the destination country is entered. As a result, buyers may have to pay additional fees that are not included in the total price shown when completing the purchase, for example VAT, customs fees, and the carrier's import processing fees.
