Ebay is not a serious or professional platform. I bought a pen for a certain amount. It never arrived at my home. The seller showed me a slip signed by me even though I was away. Ebay delayed and sided with the seller despite my dispute. A pitiful experience with this Ebay service, which I recommend avoiding. It does not serve your interests despite the money spent and not refunded.

If the signature on the shipping slip is not yours, all you need to do is dispute it, with a document containing your official signature, which will necessarily be different. If it’s the same, then you have a problem in your circle, but it’s neither Ebay’s nor the seller’s fault.

it's the price of modernism with a system run by robots , AI is convenient but it doesn't compare to someone who listens to the parties in a dispute
on the other hand why doubt a seller, he doesn't know your signature, so who refunds, ebay is not insurance but judging by your statements even insurance wouldn't have refunded you
