VAT exemption on imports (B2B with intra-EU VAT number) & billing details | Buy an item

Hello, I’d like to buy a product in the United States with my business account, but when I go to checkout, Ebay adds import VAT. This should normally be exempt, since I have a valid intra-community VAT number.1- I added my VAT number to my Ebay account (but the site is so well designed that I can’t find the page link anymore...) 2- It doesn’t take it into account at checkout. How do I proceed so that the VAT exemption applies? 3- And on top of that, there’s no field to enter billing information. So how can the seller know whom to invoice? Is it based on the shipping address provided? And what if it’s different? Thanks Best regards,
