Hello, I bought a used DS console for my son that I received on April 12 and insured for 1 year with Allianz. He received it on May 4, but there was a touchscreen defect. I therefore contacted the seller as eBay recommends rather than opening a dispute. After many messages between May 4 and May 27 about the problem, the seller tells me: " Hello No, not yet. I can follow up, but they have 21 business days to respond or give a decision " The console does not work: touchscreen defect Received on April 12 tried on May 4 (gift bought in advance) Allianz rejects the case because the defect appeared before 30 days from delivery Paypall rejects the case because it was opened 30 days after delivery eBay refuses the return request However, eBay states in its customer guarantee: "You must contact the seller within 30 days from the estimated delivery date." which is my case as the messages sent to the seller from May 4 prove. I therefore regret not opening a dispute right away because I wasted too much time with the seller and I will not be refunded.
