I got an iPad mini 5 at auction yesterday.
The seller just canceled the sale because he prefers to sell it for more somewhere else.
That’s the whole point of auctions.
I find this a bit annoying

The seller has the right to cancel (of course, the whole point is to refund if payment has been made).
The site cannot force them to ship, any more than it can force a buyer to pay for their purchase (at the ebay level, this still stays at the stage of “defects” recorded on ebayers’ accounts, and can lead to account restrictions).
