Stamp seller in bulk
I have an activity on eBay that leads me to use stamps. I’m very surprised to see the price of some listings like this one:
500 stamps, 100 g, is equivalent to 1000 stamps, 20 g, so that makes the stamp €0.34 instead of €1.16
How can one think that this seller is acting legally?

·3 years agoWhen the big increase in stamp prices over several years was announced (I think it was 6/7 years ago if I remember correctly? time flies...), I had stocked up on stamps without a face value to be set for a while
It's possible that this person invested in stamps, since stamps without a face value have no expiry date, given the exponential increase in postal rates, when you had the means to invest and understood what was going to happen, it was a very good move^^

of course, this is only my opinion, but generally speaking, this kind of purchase for stamps of this type is best avoided. You can easily end up with stamps whose "tracking number" has already been used ...
If you're looking for stamps on the site, you'll be able to find "easily" sellers who sell lots of stamps in francs, notably at 50% of face value. (postage with stamps in francs being perfectly allowed as long as you respect the francs / euros conversion)
Sure, the discount is less substantial, but there's no risk of getting ripped off.

·3 years agoUh, he was talking about plain stamps, wasn’t it a question of whether the tracking number was used or not? I don’t understand your remark [content removed].

If I remember correctly, the stamps in question are printed stamps "online stamp".
What @francexpressdeal describes as the tracking number is the tracking for the stamp itself, that is to say the QR code. when buying online stamps, it is easy to print more stamps than the quantity paid for, except that the QR code is not validated for the extra ones.
Hence the warning about buying this type of stamp outside the postal service website.
