New: upload energy labels and product information sheets in PDF format
If you sell products in the European Union or the United Kingdom that are subject to energy labeling, you must provide energy labels and product performance information in your listings. This includes electrical appliances, light sources, smartphones, tablets, and tires. This information helps buyers make an informed choice and helps your listings stay compliant.
When you create or revise a listing that is affected, you can now upload your energy label and product information sheet in PDF format or as an image in the Regulatory item information section. Previously, these documents could only be uploaded as images.
What you need to do
● Upload your energy label and product information sheet in PDF format or as an image
● Make sure your PDF files do not exceed 10 MB
● Check your Good 'Til Cancelled listings to make sure they include the required energy labeling information. Older listings may need to be updated to stay compliant.
● Add the correct energy efficiency information for affected products
● If you manage your listings through a third-party provider, contact them directly to find out how to upload your energy label and product information sheet in PDF format or as an image
