Summary: fr_news_team informs sellers on eBay that the Payment Services Terms of Use will be updated on February 4, 2025. The changes clarify the payment services offered, the payment options for buyers, and revise the payout terms for sellers outside the EEA and Switzerland. Sellers can terminate the terms without charge before that date if they do not accept the changes.
Dear sellers,
At eBay, we are committed to establishing clear policies and offering easy-to-use services. We are updating our Payment Services User Agreement, which will take effect on February 4, 2025.
We have modified the Payment Services User Agreement to better describe the payment services we offer you. As part of this update, we have clarified the payment options generally offered to buyers on the eBay website. In addition, the terms relating to the payout of available funds have been revised for sellers residing in regions outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland.
If you refuse the proposed changes, you may terminate these Payment Services User Agreement, in accordance with section 12 (“Term, Termination”), at no additional cost and at any time before February 4, 2025.
