We are seeing an increase in phishing emails targeting online buyers and sellers. Some of these messages are very convincing and can be hard to identify as phishing attempts.
To continue protecting your account and your information, we recommend that you :
Check links before clicking on them.
Never enter sensitive or confidential information on external websites.
Always check the website address when a page asks you to enter personal information.
Never allow another person to access your eBay account.
If in doubt, contact eBay directly to verify the legitimacy of the request.
