Collapse in sales on eBay

News for professional and private sellers

Hello, since the beginning of July, my sales on eBay have plummeted! I went from 20 to 30 sales a month to almost zero.

Admittedly, I had delivery delays with Italy that hurt me, the USA stopped buying, and the French are on vacation or too busy with politics, but since September nothing has picked back up.

Are other eBay sellers in the same situation as me, or am I the only one?

Hello, personally I am very disappointed with the eBay site. I think that a lot of people are leaving this site because of its policy for sellers. First of all, the commission fees are too high, and on top of that, there’s no way to talk with them. They rule over their little kingdom. I sold a high-value item, I partially refunded the seller and in the end eBay took its cut from the initial amount. Which means they took a very, very big commission. Pure and simple theft. It’s really outrageous. Goodbye eBay, I’m out of here.

When you issue a refund, eBay also refunds the fee percentage on the refunded amount. (see example)
