SCAM on Ebay I bought an item, no trace in the history and no delivery
I bought an auto part, paid on eBay by credit card, no email reply, merchant number [Référence] luxembourg on my bank statement Of course not delivered. You can’t even trust eBay anymore and of course since the transaction doesn’t appear in the history it’s impossible to contact anyone. So I’m going back to buying from the local supplier. Really fed up with eBay

Your account mentions that you signed up today.
so if your purchase was made before this registration, it is normal that there is no trace of the purchase on your Ebay account.

no eBay guarantee, which sends me back to the history
Is that clear enough to explain?

If you say you bought something on eBay... that you paid by card and that your purchase hasn’t been delivered...
and MOST IMPORTANTLY that you can’t find any trace of it in your eBay account... there’s probably one of the following reasons----->
1) - you most likely bought it BEFORE your eBay account was created, since your registration on eBay is dated today... (unless you bought with another account...)
in which case you bought as a "guest".. or as a "non-registered" user on the site. Any purchase made BEFORE an account is created cannot be added to it afterward...
If that’s the case....
you should have a receipt in your inbox confirming your purchase with all its details... (check your spam folder too...)...

2) - you bought from a fake eBay listing... which sometimes happens when crooks manage to fool buyers with listings on Google or elsewhere...
In that case... there’s not much to do... and especially no point blaming the site for not protecting you if you went outside eBay...
All that’s left is to talk to your bank and ask for a chargeback if that’s possible.
