@dadem8614 and @alfred.san.mar and does that seem strange to you? the site takes its commission from sellers as soon as you click, but then it's a 4-day wait to open a dispute, and how many days before those commissions are credited back to you, and this happens several times a month, whether it's a bug or the cat that bid
so we're not going to argue over looking for flimsy excuses
and believe me, if it affected everyone there would be a general uproar, but you aren't many to complain
It is important to communicate about this bug with sellers within 3 days after purchase, if needed by directing them to the forum threads, so that they wait as much as possible before initiating the cancellation (possible on day 4).
Indeed, each cancellation for non-payment triggers a warning recorded on the buyer's account, and with 2 warnings (in total over the last 12 months) there will be a purchase block with all sellers who have configured their account that way...
I therefore strongly advise everyone who ends up with one (or several) cancelled purchase(s) because of the bug to contact customer service so that these warnings are removed from their account.
do you think it could have something to do with the fact that over 12 months I didn't pay for 2 items and so now purchases are blocked? if that's the case I think ebay should inform people stuck in this purchase checkout mess because I can see that every day one more person is affected , the least they could do is warn people...since then I've contacted customer service 4 times because I really need to pay for the items I bought, they say every time we're on it and we're trying to find a solution but for 5 days.......no progress , everyone I don't pay cancels right away .....
Hello, I understand you, I’ve been going through the same thing for 5 days and I’m pretty disappointed with the sellers’ behavior .....we’re a long way from being in a realm of respect, tolerance, and patience!! Far from it, it’s direct money or nothing, sad if it’s just to come sell and be paranoid, might as well do flea markets and junk sales, I’m disappointed with the sellers’ behavior .......already 2 purchases canceled right away because I can’t pay!! it’s not my fault, it’s blocked, but well I think I understand that it concerns a small group and everyone starting from July 09 apparently .if the seller blocks you for non-payment right away then believe me you haven’t lost anything , if people have no tolerance that’s their problem not yours
same thing for 2 days it's frustrating impossible I had to cancel 2 purchases that I had won at auction, impossible to pay neither in immediate purchase nor in auction win it's disheartening ......
I explained myself badly, I didn’t cancel the purchases myself, I clearly explained the situation and apologized, it was the sellers who canceled my auction wins, but in my frustration I wrote "I had to cancel" no, that’s not it, it was the sellers who didn’t want to hear anything, besides they didn’t respond at all, they just canceled even though I kindly asked them to wait at least until Tuesday after July 14.....but well, okay, the fact that they canceled I can understand, but the fact that they didn’t reply to the messages, that’s less classy.

Nothing to do with it. It's a general bug that affects even buyers who have no unpaid items.

why cancel purchases, all you need to do is let the sellers know about this situation
as for me, as a seller, a buyer who cancels their purchase for whatever reason will never again have the possibility to bid with me
