He married on December 26, 1893 in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique), where he was a photographer (employee). In 1895, he took over the photography studio of Gallas located at 9, rue du Britais in Laval (Mayenne). He would hardly have time to make a name for himself there. He died on June 25, 1896 at the age of 28.
