suspended account, shameful practices
Summary: ketocaz expresses their dissatisfaction after their eBay account was suspended and all their listings were removed, despite using the eBay shipping platform for all shipments with tracking numbers. lingma85 suggests checking whether the tracking numbers were properly recorded and offers to contest eBay's decision. kebou9226 confirms that all tracking numbers are correctly recorded and questions the negative feedback, considering that it should not affect seller performance. felin12 recommends checking the eBay dashboard to identify any possible defects. frelonverre advises responding to eBay’s specific requests to resolve the problem, while koalagris warns against using multiple accounts to bypass a suspension.
Hello everyone,
My eBay account has just been suspended and all 150 of my listings deleted, and an email notifies me that I have to enter the tracking numbers for my shipments, even though absolutely all my shipments are sent via eBay's shipping platform and they all have a tracking number!
I have one pending shipment that dates back a few days, I have no dispute in progress, I have 97.5% positive feedback, I am really outraged that all my listings were removed like this for no valid reason!
Honestly I don't see what the problem is with my account and above all how eBay, when we are customers of their platform, can allow itself to destroy our work like this? Dozens of hours spent putting up carefully written listings that just get wiped out?
Honestly I am so discouraged that I don't even feel like trying to unblock my account.
Paying fees only to end up being treated like this is really absurd.
Kind regards
Ketocaz

@ketocaz
Check your dashboard to see where the defects are, and file a report if necessary.

·2 years agoHello,
My status is very good seller everywhere, I have 2 defects out of 177 transactions, so I even fall into the "top reliability" category
I have a 0% return rate and 8% late delivery rate

·2 years agoHello @kebou9226
Watch out that eBay doesn't apply these restrictions to this 2nd account:
https://www.ebay.fr/help/policies/identity-policies/multiple-accounts-policy?id=4232
"Members are expected to resolve issues as they arise, and follow the procedures established by eBay in order to bring their accounts back into compliance so they can continue buying or selling using other accounts"

·2 years agoHello,
Since eBay suspended my account without any apparent or valid reason, I don't see how I can make sure they don't place restrictions on another account.
"To help us lift the restriction on your account, you must:
- Provide proof of delivery for all the items you sold on eBay by uploading tracking information. Learn more about tracking sold items: https://www.ebay.fr/help/selling/posting-items/tracking-items-youve-sold?id=4088
- Settle any outstanding issues with buyers via the eBay Resolution Center: https://resolutioncenter.ebay.fr/."
- Settle any outstanding issues with buyers via the eBay Resolution Center: https://resolutioncenter.ebay.fr/."
All items always had a valid tracking number and there are no disputes in progress; there were 2 disputes out of 177 transactions and they were resolved a long time ago, so I'm still at a loss.
And beyond that, the methods used are outrageous, especially the removal of listings; these could, for example, be deactivated.
Kind regards

·2 years agoJust wanted to let you know that putting things up for sale on this account to get around the suspension on the other one is risky, but of course it's only advice: it's up to you... 😉

eBay asks you to enter the tracking numbers, you think you can get around that by assuming that using eBay's shipping platform is enough (for a human maybe, for a robot definitely not), so in the end you get kicked off
now you're going to have to work hard to recover your account, and the fact of changing it is going to end up getting you kicked off the site

OP2 years agoI think you didn't understand me, all the tracking numbers are filled in, if I open the order the tracking number is correctly saved, which puts the order in the "sent" tab, besides if I wanted to insist and manually save the tracking number I would have to delete the old one, which would end up being the same anyway... !
if the numbers weren't saved the orders would stay in "pending shipment"

I understood very well, but you're on eBay, don't try to understand it, do what you're asked or change sites

You write----> " , an email notifies me that I must enter the tracking numbers for my shipments, even though absolutely all my shipments are sent via the eBay shipping platform and they all have a tracking number!"
Did you make sure to enter the tracking number for each of your sales on their individual transaction...?
If not, and with 2 negative feedback ratings, it may have served as the trigger for your sanction.
See if you can use this link---> Appeal an eBay decision regarding a return or a missing item (sellers) | eBay

·2 years agoHello,
When shipping is done via the eBay shipping platform, the tracking number is automatically recorded on the transaction.
So yes, all tracking numbers are recorded; otherwise I would have late shipments, which is not the case.
One negative feedback concerns a refunded product and the other concerns a shipping fee issue, because the buyer did not ask for combined shipping at the time of the order, then left negative feedback 1 month after receiving their orders.
An eBay customer service person told me a long time ago that feedback is no longer taken into account in the seller performance calculation because not all buyers leave feedback.
Kind regards
