Hi.This is my first post here but I’ve been buying on this site for a long time.Let me explain:About two years ago, I placed an order for an item weighing a few kilos, deliverable to my home. I paid, and shortly after the seller asked me which pickup point I wanted the parcel delivered to. I replied that I hadn’t chosen that delivery method, and he answered that he does it that way to have lower fees, meaning, in other words, to make more money... Being honest (afraid of a bad rating, I think...), he предложed to cancel the sale and I said no because it was an item that was hard to find.Rinse and repeat: three days ago I placed an order for an item for home delivery and I realized it was being delivered to a pickup point when I received the tracking number! I complained and the seller told me that it was normal because the parcel was more than 3 centimeters. Oh really, nothing over 3 centimeters can be home delivered?? Then it became 5 centimeters (can I try ordering a USB key for home delivery??) ! Worst of all, when I received the tracking number I wasn’t asked which pickup point the delivery would go to! That’s complete nonsense. In fact, the seller was taking me for an idiot! He tried to confuse me again and told me I was looking for conflict when he is entirely responsible for this mess!! It’s deliberately that sellers do this so they can put a little more money in their pocket and, incidentally, push their listings to the top with a price + shipping search...I would have paid shipping to have it delivered, though...So, since I’m “looking for conflict,” he canceled the sale by marking it as being at my request, just to avoid a bad rating, I imagine... In any case, I wouldn’t have gone to pick up the parcel because I have a serious disability in one leg and I can no longer drive or walk more than a few dozen meters without risking falling.Other sellers sell this product and I asked someone who ships with Colissimo to see if it’s true. I’m impatiently waiting for their reply before placing my order.It reminds me of people who “give away” puppies on a famous classifieds site and when you show up to take possession of one: “no, it costs money because I’m not authorized to sell animals” Same kind of scam as some sellers here.I imagine I’m not the only one, right?That was my little rant.Thanks.J-J.PS: I expect criticism, or even worse (if that makes you happy, don’t hold back!) from some sellers who use this practice, arguing that they would “go out of business” if they didn’t do this. What’s in quotation marks is deliberately exaggerated, but I don’t think it’s that far from the truth.When you only deliver to a pickup point, SAY SO, BE HONEST!!!!! DON’T LET THE BUYER PAY FOR HOME DELIVERY AND THEN SPRING IT ON THEM AT THE LAST MINUTE TO WASTE THEIR TIME!!!!
