New Mikov automatic knife
Summary: cata66 complained about the removal of their automatic knife listings on Ebay, while similar listings remain online. max2661953 suggested that the problem might be related to the wording of the listing, and frelonverre pointed out that some listings seem to slip through the rules because they are posted from abroad. id2-ouf shared a similar experience with pool listings.
My listing was just removed because apparently it doesn't comply with the knife regulations
Fine. I agree if the moderator says so. But then why, when I go to the Automatic Knife site, do I find 9 for sale, including 1 that's absolutely identical to mine and which had also served as a model for my listing.
Is there one rule for Ebay and another for someone else, or are the removals at the moderator's discretion.
I’m asking because this is the 3rd listing that’s been removed from me, even though I keep seeing identical ones go by.
Can someone give me an answer ??

just because others slip through the cracks doesn't make things possible
and nothing stops a foreign seller from posting an ad with a product that isn't banned where they are

The rules may be different on EB sites abroad.
And it’s all in the choice of words and where they’re placed.

OP3 years agoThank you for your reply. Indeed, I realized that the
choice of words in the title is important. Honesty on Ebay is
not rewarded and you have to say as little as possible.
Anyway, I’m very disappointed and luckily there are other sites that
do accept it and are more logical.
Best regards
