Funds blocked
A real scandal: my item is sold, delivered, the buyer has received it, but eBay is holding the funds for a month, inventing (eBay's "delivery" service, which confuses postal codes and Chronopost internal codes) a nonexistent delivery error. Complaint: response: impossible to correct the errors in the information system. It's astounding.

·1 year agoTo respond to the other comments, personally, I am neither an occasional seller nor a new seller. And if eBay explains to me that it is blocking the funds for 14 days because I have increased my sales, no problem. On the other hand, this is different. 1 month of blocking and, on top of that, it is a significant amount, that is still absurd, solely because their computer system does not detect the correct codes (it confuses postal codes and Chronopost internal codes).
The buyer also confirms to me that he received the package at his address.

·1 year agoThe exact same thing is happening to me: I paid with ebay delivery service for a shipment with Chronopost to Germany. The buyer received the item and confirms it to me by message.
Ebay is blocking the funds for a month!! Here is their message: "Thank you for sending the order and uploading the tracking information. Delivery could not be confirmed because the tracking postal code does not match the postal code of the delivery address. "
It's unbearable, and it's not the first time this has happened to me. On the other hand, they took the fees right away.

All new seller accounts and/or occasional sellers (which is your case ) are treated the same way...
You have to wait 15 days to 3 weeks to receive your funds.
This time period corresponds to the time allowed to open a dispute for a non-compliant item for example.. and/or one that does not meet the buyer's expectations...
The indication that the item has been received and the corresponding rating does not exempt a buyer from making any claim whatsoever, which justifies this hold...
eBay therefore keeps the funds during this time, which allows it to refund an unhappy buyer without having to dip into your bank account.
So be patient.. having a good ten sales to be on the safe side and receive your funds as soon as the sale is made.. Check your Dashboard to see if everything is going well...
and don't shout like that without having read the site's Terms of Use and/or seen its instructions....

OP1 year agoI’m yelling about eBay’s uncorrected errors, and I have every right to. It says the seller receives the funds 24 hours after delivery, for your info.

Here’s what eBay says... and it would be good if you took note of it, instead of ranting...----->
" New sellers or occasional sellers will see their transactions blocked until they have put good selling practices in place. This helps sellers prove themselves and build up a significant selling history on eBay. New sellers are generally blocked for 14 days, but sometimes longer.
