promotion of the 25th and whistleblowers
Summary: In this discussion, frelonverre expresses frustration at the many threads opened about a cigarette-butt promotion, suggesting that people wait for the issue to resolve itself. primozap replies by saying that the promotion works fine, even if it is confusing, and thanks eBay for the savings made. frelonverre reacts by comparing this situation to disappointing government promises, mentioning eBay's early days with free listings. red71-2011 adds that, back when they sold on eBay, only commissions were paid and listings were free.
hey guys there have been 10 threads opened in four days for this cigarette butt promotion don't you think that's enough, it doesn't work that's a fact but read what's already been written on this subject and as long as nobody has any fresh news or a trick to get around the site's pitfalls and you're irresistibly drawn by the urge to carve your prose in the forum's marble, be patient, the site will recover on its own and either the promotion will be moved or your ads will be credited back

·1 year agoHello and Happy New Year to everyone!
You should read or reread the open threads, this promo works perfectly (even if the way it works is really confusing) and it's not push-over stuff, with zero selling fees, it makes for a nice saving! so even if it costs me to write it.... I say thank you to ebay for this promo. QED : )

you have the right to say thank you to ebay, but it makes me think of our leaders who announce a drop in electricity prices to us, a bit bitter, no?
or even an increase in my pension, by a few euros!!!!!!!!!!!!
let's remember that a few years ago, and to compete with the others, ebay had created free classified ads

·1 year agoHello folks, 😋 ( yep, I'm the kid 😆)
I confirm what Frelon wrote: back when I was selling on Ebay, I never paid a single one of my listings on ebay. Just the commission fees AND that was already a lot !
