Refund
Summary: suukootoys expresses frustration about his online shop, where he is running into issues with parcel refunds. He describes an incident where a customer claims to have received the wrong item, even though the labeling evidence shows otherwise. Despite efforts to resolve the problem, the customer initiated several disputes that resulted in a refund. hades_et_persephone asks which carrier was used, but an indirect reply from lingma85 suggests checking the relevant announcements for more details.
I’m planning to close my shop, I’m fed up with refunding parcels I buy from suppliers, that I ship on my own time and that I end up refunding after the sale! I send a parcel, the parcel gets blocked, after a message from the buyer, I contact the carrier and file a claim; two days later the parcel moves and is marked as delivered. I contact the buyer asking if everything’s okay? He replies no! He says he received a different item, except that he sends me photos clearly showing it’s not my shipment!!!! The labeling proves it, the numbers and ID are clear evidence, then he even dared to say I wasn’t doing anything, that I had to refund him quickly without even listening and that I was washing my hands of it, when I had taken the time to file claims. A procedure is currently underway to see whether the parcel was actually delivered, etc etc... He filed three disputes and they refunded him with my money, he may get his recovered parcel or maybe he has already received it, anyway it’s a total disgrace, no recourse, we’re making money by working, buying from suppliers, invoicing, offering discounts, tracking, sometimes free shipping, and keeping the eBay platform alive, and this is how we’re helped.
