REP and CITEO significant increase

Question

Hello, everyone, I’m registered on CITEO for my REP declaration.

I pay 80 euros excl. VAT each year; and from what I’ve seen the fee goes up to 110 euros excl. VAT ( an increase of 37%!!!!!!!!!) . which makes quite a hefty increase in 1 year.... my sales don’t increase that much!!

Does anyone know if this increase is general, or if it’s only linked to CITEO.

Which other organizations can you go through to pay this REP?

- Hello everyone, yes indeed on Citeo the flat fee will go up to 110 euros excluding tax in 2026, I confirm.

- The flat fee is a total rip-off !!! I send at most 150 parcels per year, with packaging already used, only the tape I buy.

I pay Citeo a flat fee as if I were sending 5000 kg of packaging in the year!

Simply a disgrace!

I confirm the increase to 132 euros in the Citeo fee, which I consider to be a scam and which mainly serves to pay for:

the running of this organization (premises, offices, equipment purchases ...)

the salaries of managers and employees

TV advertising and flyers

...

I regularly receive reports from Citeo that are incomprehensible to me.

I also use recycled cardboard boxes. I believe it is up to the manufacturer or importer to pay this tax just once

Ebay forces us to comply with the standards by threatening to hide our listings.

It is becoming too restrictive and too expensive to sell on ebay ... with sales in free fall

What is CITEO for?

when you ask them they don't answer clearly...we see stupid ads on TV that WE pay for; we can send them a registered letter to find out more but they don't answer!

personally I take my cardboard out of the trash, in other words I recycle; I remain a filthy polluter nonetheless....ecologists are fanatics who should be BANNED

Good evening, we have to hold on, but it’s true that we’re swamped with unnecessary fees, which must be making a bunch of people rich.

I just received my Citeo invoice 2 days ago and boom, 132 euros to pay before the end of June, even though I already paid 95 euros in January.

all that just to pay for recycling cardboard that I pick out of trash bins...

Total scam!! I’m going to have to stop my business because enough is enough!! (they already took away my activity bonus this year because disability pension + activity bonus is over... so you’re disabled but you still work, you pay your taxes and more taxes, but all that just to end up ruined??!! What a waste, I’m disgusted!!

Ok, thanks for this quick reply, so there's no point in me leaving CITEO to go look elsewhere. And nothing tells us either that next year we won't have an even bigger increase....... the future looks gloomy
