Marketing Trend - Consumption Observatory
Hello,
I wanted to know whether it would be possible to extract data in bulk and get an idea of the traffic for listings and the profile of buyers on eBay. I work at Michelin and would be interested in the buying/selling traffic you have for tires in particular.
Apparently this is a professional service offered on Le **bleep** and I was wondering if there was something equivalent on eBay?

If you want to do market research to sell your tires... you can very well do it yourself..
1) - you use the "advanced search"... (at the top right of the "search" function on any page of your account...).
2) - then ... =... You search the tires category___> "https://www.ebay.fr/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p3519243.m570.l1311&_nkw=pneus&_sacat=0"
and you "pick through" each listing, account etc...
It's a personal job to do, and only you know exactly what to search for for your study.
On other sites, there are other ways of doing things... but don't forget that a tire weighs a lot and that shipping costs aren't free for the person who pays them...
