I clicked mark payment received but it was actually a mistake, I wanted to cancel the sale because I still haven’t been paid.

You make a cancellation on the grounds of "buyer requested" or "address issue" to avoid the fees (and as long as you can no longer do it for non-payment):

If there's a problem, contact customer service (contact links, phone or chat, 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the bottom of the help page).
The buyer gets off cheap, because of this mistake....
