Hello everyone, I bought an item via eBay, I already paid customs fees, DHL is asking me to pay customs fees, parcel pending, what should I do, I'm not going to pay twice, thanks everyone

eBay is required to collect VAT on import at the time of purchase. However, in some cases customs may ask you to pay it again.
In this situation, I invite you to make the payment, otherwise the parcel will not be delivered, it will be returned to the seller and, in the event of a dispute, you will be held responsible for refusing the parcel.
However, if you pay VAT on import twice, you can get reimbursed by eBay.

From this page, click on => "upload proof of excess payment."
Once the invoice is received, we will refund you.
As for customs fees, these are charged depending on the item imported. eBay will not be able to reimburse them since they are the responsibility of the importer.

Provide the invoice with the taxes paid to the carrier or request a refund from eBay , but DHL may ask you for customs clearance fees, which are not necessarily paid at the time of purchase ..
