Video game account purchase

Good evening, I would like to buy an account for a famous online video game. However, it’s an « intangible » purchase. Is eBay still able to protect me in case I get the wrong account or simply don’t receive the login details or the wrong ones. Knowing that there is little traceability compared to a physical purchase. I don’t know if any of you have already had this case, but I haven’t found any concrete info. Thanks
