eBay USA purchase
Summary: keihos7 shares their experience of buying an MSI motherboard on eBay via Newegg, shipped from Canada/USA, and expresses concerns about the lack of legal warranty. lingma85 responds by explaining the conditions related to warranties when professional sellers are involved and suggests using PayPal to open a dispute if there is a problem. However, keihos7 points out that PayPal does not cover the lack of warranty, and the conversation ends with the advice to prioritize local purchases in order to benefit from reliable warranties.
I bought an MSI motherboard because it was unavailable in Europe on eBay Canada/USA from a very well-known computer company, Newegg.
Now that I've bought it and the delivery is arriving, they tell me my new product isn't under warranty!
They don't want to give me an invoice.
A legal warranty is mandatory, right?
What do I do if the motherboard breaks down in three months?
I find that very suspicious.
Any opinions on this?
International purchases are not covered by legal warranties?
Do you know how to contact eBay?

Your questions--------->
- A legal warranty is mandatory, right?
If the seller is a professional... and an authorized reseller by the brand.... the warranty should apply without any problem...
- What do I do if the motherboard breaks down in three months?
You pay by PayPal and you have 180 days after payment (Buyer and Seller Protection| PayPal FR ) to open a dispute...
Do you know how to contact eBay?
It’s here--------> eBay Customer Service
Contact them during office hours if possible and ask to be called back...
Best regards

Your initial question---------> "What do I do if the motherboard breaks down in three months?"
I suggested PayPal to you because the protection lasts 6 months during which you can open a dispute for a non-compliant item....
If you want guarantees... buy French from an approved professional.. that's the most reliable thing there is.
