by chance I went to check my eBay purchases this evening to track the delivery and there!! incredible but true, a sale went through even though I never saw this item or even put it in the payment Paid €25.50!!! on February 16 .... mind-blowing and scary!! so yes, my bank's advice ... when you pay by bank card, eBay automatically records the card and when you buy, the payment goes through without any verification code or anything, so the door is wide open to scams!! I call the help service who, of course, assures me that this is not possible!! BULLSHIT!! I've been on eBay for 6 years and whatever the amount of the purchase, you confirm and boom, order placed without receiving any code or other validation, neither by email nor by SMS, so WARNING!!! same on temu and **bleep** !! so from now on I'll pay and then delete my card from the account to avoid SCAMS!! and of course no no ma'am, eBay doesn't do things that way!!! Total HATRED but luckily I realized it, so this is a BIG BIG WARNING MESSAGE
