The price you negotiated is a tax-excluded price.... but since you are an importer, VAT is added on the one hand, and you must not forget the other customs clearance fees...
You need to count on +/- 30% in total fees on top of your negotiated price...
Now, see whether it’s worth it... If not, ask your seller to cancel the sale and include an apology for not being aware of the import fees.. Cancel an order as a buyer | eBay
