US purchase from French Polynesia

I live in French Polynesia and apparently I can buy anywhere in the world (Europe, India, China...) except in the US.
Do you know why?
Also, I can't contact Ebay France, whose contact service is only offered by phone. When I have to enter my number to be called back by Ebay, it doesn't recognize my number... of course, Polynesian numbers have only 8 digits.
Does anyone have an email address for the eBay France sales department?

There is an embargo on deliveries between the US and French Polynesia, since 2022 ------> see here, in a US discussion -----------> https://community.ebay.com/t5/Ask-a-Mentor/Selling-to-Russia/td-p/32793105
This embargo dates from 2022 and still seems to be in effect...
You need to contact the US seller to find out whether they can or cannot waive this embargo and see with you how to proceed.

I didn't make anything up for you, the sources are identical on the US forum and here (according to the link you provide)
It's a shame, but those are eBay site guidelines..
Your seller may not sell ONLY on eBay... you need to ask the question and/or check on another site.

regarding your purchases in the USA or elsewhere, you need to select sellers who accept delivery to France.
Check the listings; the delivery location is specified.
For customer service, contact is made by phone or by chat depending on the questions you ask.
