Purchases France / Germany
Summary: beurmed wants to buy in Germany but is having trouble with DHL deliveries, since they often arrive when they’re not home. Without a vehicle to pick up the parcels at the depot, they’ve given up on those purchases. lingma85 suggests contacting the seller directly to arrange delivery before buying.
I'd like to be able to buy in Germany, but I'd like my deliveries to be forwarded by La Poste and arrive in my mailbox. The problem with DHL is that the delivery drivers always come when we're out, and then it's a real hassle to pick up our parcels, especially since I don't have a vehicle to get to their depot. I've had to give up buying in Germany because of this.

The best thing is to contact the seller whose item you’re interested in directly and see with them how to get your purchases sent to you.
- something to do before buying, of course...
