Buyer who has not received the package and is refusing to open a dispute via eBay
Summary: franceecotoit explains that their buyer is complaining about not having received a parcel without informing them directly, and refuses to open a dispute via eBay to get a refund or a replacement shipment. *miss-tigri* advises not to issue a refund until the dispute has been opened by the buyer, to try to remove the negative feedback if possible, and to refer to the seller performance rules for more clarity.
Hello,
A buyer is complaining via an EBAY review (without even informing me of the problem beforehand) that the package hasn’t arrived.
I file a claim with Mondial Relay, which of course passes the buck and takes weeks to respond, etc.
EBAY contacted me and told me that the buyer has to open a dispute through their account for intervention and a refund.
After contacting my customer, he refuses to take 2 mins to help us and open a dispute.
He wants a refund or another package sent.
It’s impossible for me to open a dispute at my level, and the buyer’s report wouldn’t match reality.
What do you do when dealing with someone this stubborn?
Any top tips?
ThAnks

Mentor1 year agoHello
If the buyer doesn't open a dispute, no refund needs to be made ... They have 30 days to do it, tough luck if they don't ..
Normally the parcel will come back to you..You can offer them a new shipment with payment of new shipping costs ..
If you can argue that the non-delivery is not your fault, submit a request to remove feedback . For more information, see the seller performance policy and defect removal policy.
