buyer on the move
Summary: keita2k10 sold a product shipped via Mondial Relay, but the buyer, who is currently abroad, is asking for it to be sent to another address. The parcel is being held at a relay point and could be returned to the sender after 8 days, which would make a refund possible. koalagris suggests waiting for the parcel to be returned before discussing either reshipping it at the buyer's expense or issuing a partial refund.
Hello, I sold a product a few days ago, I shipped it via Mondial Relay to a pickup point, the parcel arrived and the buyer tells me he is abroad and asks me to send it to another address (which I can't do since the product is at the pickup point for 8 days).
The buyer tells me he never asked for the product to be sent to a pickup point, yet as far as I remember I just clicked on "print the slip," so that surprises me.
So I don't know what happens next, the product will apparently be sent back to the original drop-off locker after 8 days, and I imagine that the buyer will then be refunded?
Thanks in advance for your help or advice
And have a nice day

Mentor2 years agoGood evening @keita2k10
An uncollected parcel does not benefit from eBay's customer guarantee, so you'll need to agree with the buyer on a new shipment at their expense OR a refund for the item only = we'll see once you've retrieved the parcel.
