Scammed buyer, what to do?

I was scammed by a seller who took my money via PayPal and never sent anything! EBay refuses to reimburse me, under the pretext that the seller refuses to refund me!

What should I do? Can someone help me, thanks.

PayPal tells me to go through eBay, but eBay refuses to refund me despite the copy of the email exchanges, or the seller asks me to make a bank transfer without going through eBay and or the seller also tells me that they are cancelling the sale.

Hello,

The seller asked me to pay by another method than eBay, he wanted me to make a bank transfer, I refused and paid through eBay, the seller told me he was canceling the sale but didn’t do it, he kept the money from the sale, refuses to refund me and no longer replies to my messages. He’s a **bleep**! And I got scammed.

if the transaction really took place through eBay, there is absolutely no reason for eBay to refuse you a refund.

Yes, I went to make a claim for an item not received, but I have to wait until February 1st to do it. In case the seller sends the package!!

you should have started with that...

And it’s not in case the seller sends you your parcel, but depending on the estimated delivery date.

So that’s why eBay didn’t refund you: they still don’t issue refunds in advance for a dispute that hasn’t happened yet.

So be patient and follow the dispute procedure.

On eBay, you can’t open a dispute for an item not received before the delivery deadline has passed:
