Recipient address on Colissimo postage eBay platform
Summary: yamk_fr described a recurring problem with the eBay platform concerning Colissimo labels. When a label is edited, the sender’s phone number appears instead of the recipient’s, which causes a problem if the postal carrier needs to contact them abroad. The hotline was unable to resolve this issue. jacquelinedu36 suggested going directly through La Poste to avoid these problems.
I am bringing you a recurring problem that the hotline located in Senegal cannot solve (LOL).
When you print a Colissimo label from the eBay platform, below the recipient's address, the phone number displayed is the same as the sender's.
So useless!!!
By checking my order on eBay I discovered that the sender's number exists but apparently there is a bug since it is not the one that appears on the label.
The nice man from the hotline told me: no big deal, when the recipient's postman calls, he will reach you and you will give him the correct recipient's phone number. hahaha!!!
Even if that were possible, since the number appears starting with "6" and it is a shipment abroad, the postman will never be able to reach me.
And since there is no way to write to eBay to report this kind of incident, which some random guy from the hotline can't handle....
