Adding €2 to the final price by eBay

Hello,

I buy an item for €10 sold in France and destined for France, and eBay adds a "tax" of €2 with no explanation???? Can someone shed some light on this for me please?

Hello @guth91 ,

Make sure you're properly logged in to ebay.fr, because apparently that's not the case (which explains the additional 20% VAT).

thanks for your reply: I am indeed connected on eBay FR, the seller is in France just like me. Neither of us is a professional seller nor VAT-affiliated.
After 2 contacts with the so-called customer service, I was read the list of « how to get rid of the problem » without finding the slightest solution and being told that this is normal.
It’s scandalous to scam €2 like this.
