Hello,
I would like to share with the community a recurring problem I’ve encountered with the Packlink / Chronopost shipping service via eBay, and ask for your advice on how to handle it effectively.
Context

I have shipped several parcels via Packlink for eBay sales.

For some shipments, I have received retroactive price adjustments:

€65 for an excess of 3 cm

€83 for a shipment classified as “out of spec”, without any justification or technical details

These adjustments are notified several weeks after shipping. (a 3kg parcel and 30 cm long)

Packlink does not provide actual measurements, photos, or a handling report to justify these charges.
Impact

These fees are clearly disproportionate to the actual excess or the declared weight/volume.

This makes it harder to manage the financial side of my sales and creates significant stress for professional shippers.

I’m trying to find out:
