- The listing exists only on the US platform: some sellers post only on ebay.com. In this case, ebay.fr doesn't have a local copy of the listing, so it redirects you to ebay.com.
- The seller doesn't ship to France: if a seller limits delivery to the United States, ebay.fr may choose not to display the listing.
- The eBay catalog isn't fully synchronized between countries: some listings appear everywhere, others don't depending on (among other things): the category, local rules (customs, restrictions...), the options chosen by the seller...
- Your browser or your account may influence the redirect if you've already viewed US listings.
Unless I'm mistaken,....( and given the detailed explanation you provide...)
- it may be because the seller is registered on ebay.com and not all of their listings are offered internationally... and as a result don't appear on ebay.fr....
So you need to go through ebay.com and log in there to see them.
