Why are some listings put on hold with no explanation and no feedback after several days? Some were approved just fine and these ones weren’t, and on top of that, these are the ones that cost the most...

it's a security measure put in place by the site for new sellers. Listings are checked before being approved. And even more so for listings with a high PV.
