Announcements not visible
Summary: labrocantedelola expressed frustration about the visibility of their listings on their recently created eBay store. The listings are visible through direct links, but not when visiting the store directly, where an out-of-stock message appears. lingma85 advised waiting 24 to 48 hours for the listings to appear and explained that visibility on Google also takes time. He also mentioned the importance of using the classic listing form for more details and warned against limiting sales to eBay only. labrocantedelola thanked them for the advice and asked for more clarification on using the classic form.
Hello, I opened a professional shop, and I created my 3 first listings at 5 p.m.
They are not visible, when I click on "visit the shop", a message says "we are out of stock", yet when I send the link for one of the listings to someone, they can see it, and when they click on the shop, that out-of-stock message appears again ... moreover I tried searching for my shop via Google and it can't be found either ... I don't understand, I plan to contact eBay during their opening hours, but if someone here could enlighten me I would be thrilled
thank you

Mentor3 years agoGood evening @labrocantedelola
You’ve just opened your professional account/store. As a result, your listings will take (as with all sellers) a few hours (24 to 48 hours, sometimes) to appear, if they’re in the “my listings in progress” section...
Also, you’ll have a waiting period of 14 to 21 days before you can receive the proceeds from your sales because you’re a new seller.
As for the message... it will probably disappear once your listings appear on the site.
Regarding appearing on Google, your store has to be indexed, and that takes time and a certain number of reviews.
Last thing... for all the information about your items, and all the details about shipping (domestic and international), use the standard listing form and not the one eBay throws at you right away when you start trying to list....
--------------------------
You shouldn’t compare eBay’s “store” with a regular online shop and/or a physical store... it’s only an additional listing option for fixed-price items offered to sellers (whether private individuals or professionals).. and above all don’t put all your eggs in one basket, that would be a bad idea.
Best regards

OP3 years agoGood evening, thank you very much for your reply, I’ll wait 24–48 hours then.... the shop was created a few days ago already, but I hadn’t put any items up for sale yet.
Which standard selling form are you talking about?
I clicked on "sell" then "create a listing" but I can’t see how to do it anywhere else?
