Good evening. Is it possible to cancel a Buy It Now purchase before it’s shipped? I bought a luxury pen at an astonishingly low price, before finding several comments saying they’re fake and expressing outrage that the seller is still on EBay. I requested cancellation within a few minutes, but if the seller refuses… can I hold Ebay liable for the counterfeit? Impossible to find how to reach customer service by phone…
Hello. I have €30 of remaining delivery charges to pay UPS to get my parcel. Which is coming from INDIA. What kind of joke is this, on top of the seller passing off counterfeit goods for €150 when he has already been reported? Is there really no way to get eBay customer service on the phone??
If you read the help page posted on 19/10 by @lingma85 (a shout-out to them, by the way), you'll find the link to have eBay customer service call you back right at the bottom...
You write----> "I have €30 left to pay in shipping charges to UPS to get my parcel. Which is coming from INDIA."
- given that you are importing goods, it is normal to pay customs clearance fees that the seller does not know about and that are charged by the country receiving the goods.
This "particularity" is common to all purchases received from outside the eurozone.
Then, you also write-----> "What’s this joke, on top of the seller offloading counterfeit goods for €150 when he had already been reported?"
- Ebay does not go after counterfeit goods for sale on its site as long as the counterfeit "brands" do not take action and as long as the listings do not fall into the hands of "VERO", who is the censor and who removes faulty listings...
Reporting a listing does not mean that ebay will systematically keep an eye on every item from some random seller, especially a seller from outside ebay.fr...
Now.... given that you wrote that you had bought a "luxury pen at an astonishingly low price" (those are your words).... that should have seemed suspicious to you... Luxury or so-called "price" items have a certain value, whether they are sold in France or abroad, but certainly not being sold off cheap...
You took risks... accept the consequences even if you manage to get part of your purchase refunded, and be + careful next time...

Mentor2 years agoHello @morbm_bvwxc4nh
You’ve probably followed the recommendations in this link... ?--------> Canceling an order as a buyer | eBay
If not... it’s here------> Order cancellation policy | eBay
At worst, you’ll have to wait for delivery and then take action.
