Item sold, sent, but funds blocked by eBay

I don't understand the policy on ebay. I sold an item, I shipped it quickly, the package arrived fine, but ebay is telling me the funds are blocked until the end of January. I don't understand it on my side; the item was sent very quickly after the buyer's payment, but I can't access my funds. It's very frustrating. On my side, I didn't tell the buyer to wait until January 30 for me to send the package; he received it quickly.

the same applies to all new sellers and occasional sellers.

The delay is about 14 days (at a minimum). Then afterwards, the delay will be about 2 days (depending on your bank).

"for my part, I didn't tell the buyer wait until January 30 for me to send you the parcel" = the seller must ship as soon as the site confirms that the buyer has paid (not when they receive the funds...)
