Broken plates
Summary: phil13131 explains that they sent a parcel of plates via Mondial Relay in France, but the buyer received some of them broken in Ukraine, leaving a negative review without contacting them beforehand. They propose a full refund if the review is removed, but this remains unanswered. koalagris advises issuing the refund before asking for a review change to avoid it being seen as blackmail. *miss-tigri* suggests not worrying too much if it’s an isolated review and asks about shipping abroad.
I sent a parcel containing a lot of 6 plates to a buyer via Mondial Relay in France; I do not ship abroad. The buyer leaves a negative review without any prior exchange because he received some of the plates broken in Ukraine. Despite everything, I offer him a full refund of his purchase if he removes his feedback. Please note that I have more than 1,900 sales and, among my 900 positive reviews, my profile is very good seller. My offer to the buyer remains unanswered and eBay refuses to step in
What can I do, in your opinion?
Unlike eBay, I believe he should have contacted me before, and that the final destination changes the issue
Thanks for your feedback
Kind regards

Mentor3 years agoHello
Don’t take a no personally ..Sure, it’s not easy to swallow, but if you don’t take it too hard, it won’t do any harm ..
Why did you agree to ship abroad? 🤔

"Despite everything I’m offering him a full refund of his purchase if he withdraws his feedback" = if the buyer agrees in principle, you refund them then you send them a request to revise the feedback (and not the other way around, as that would be considered feedback blackmail).
