No trace of the order in the purchase history: only PayPal payment is enabled

Good evening, this is the first time this has happened to me: on my PayPal account there is indeed a payment with an invoice number, indicating moreover that it is indeed an eBay purchase. However, the "my orders" section is completely empty: no trace of the purchase on eBay... can someone explain to me what is going on and what I can do? It was a book ordered in England from a professional second-hand book shop (stupidly I did not take a screenshot). Thanks for your replies and your help.

You should get in touch with Customer Service and ask them for an explanation. eBay Customer Service (ask to be called back... see the bottom of the page ---> "contact us")
It’s hard to answer you here because no one has the tools or means to do this kind of investigation.
