Advance on shipping fees paid by a buyer for bundled lots, before invoice.
Summary: chardondore2017 expresses confusion about a situation where a buyer paid for several lots without having received an invoice. They mention that they made it clear in their listings that they do not use MondialRelay and only accept combined shipping. Despite this, a buyer ordered seven lots to a MondialRelay drop-off address, then paid for the lots with an advance that was insufficient for shipping costs. The buyer has not responded to messages to settle the difference, and eBay is asking for the order to be shipped. chardondore2017 is trying to understand how a buyer could pay like this and decide on the shipping costs.
Hello everyone, this is my first post. Please excuse me if it’s not very clear. I’d like to know how a buyer can pay when I haven’t sent the invoice????
In my listings I state that I do not ship via MondialRelay. And that I do combined shipping.
A buyer bought 7 lots from me, and ready to make the invoice for combined shipping, I realize that it’s an address from a Mondial Relay drop-off point. So I send him a message to specify that I did not ship via MondialRelay, but exceptionally since he bought 7 lots from me, I accept the shipment. So I ask him for the necessary information to make the MondialRelay shipping form. Several days later I see that all my lots have been paid for, and that he is giving me a €5 advance on shipping fees. Whereas it’s more expensive. Then no reply to my emails to pay the extra amount,???. Ebay is rightly asking me to send the order before such and such date. (since it has been paid)
My question is: how is it possible for a person to pay for several lots without having received the invoice??????? and that it’s him who decides the shipping costs????
