SCAM WARNING MADE BY BUYERS
Summary: fabmaradona shares their experience of being the victim of a scam on eBay, where a buyer opened a dispute for a parcel not received and was refunded despite proof of delivery. jacquelinedu36 suggests checking the tracking and contesting eBay's decision. One participant notes a duplicate of the issue, while francexpressdeal warns that discussing such scams publicly could alert more people. The consensus is that sellers lack protection on eBay.
The buyer, before receiving his parcel, opens a dispute for item not received.
After receiving his parcel, he asks for a refund for a parcel not received and eBay refunds him the full amount.
I sent the proof from Mondial Relay that the parcel had indeed been picked up by the buyer.
For eBay, that wasn’t sufficient proof, so they refunded the buyer.
If proof from Mondial Relay isn’t enough, what else do I need to prove?
I’ve seen on the forums that many sellers have lost both the item and the money.
eBay is complicit in theft in cases like this.
Be very careful, the seller has no protection.

I understand that you're upset.
Now, it doesn't really seem wise to post on a public forum the methods used to scam sellers... Especially twice in a row...
Your message is addressed to sellers, but most of them are perfectly aware of this. So it will be read and used precisely by potential scammers...

He can only open a dispute once the reception deadline has passed
Did you note the tracking number on ebay?
