Hello, I am currently under a restriction on my eBay account.
Let me explain.
eBay informed me that they want an ID document + proof of address + invoices for my items and a selfie.
Since I mainly buy at flea markets, all sorts of sales, or regular stores, I wasn’t able to provide, right away, an invoice for all of my items (I own nearly 1000), so well...
To make matters worse, some come from my personal collection.
Unfortunately, eBay told me my account was blocked for selling + that I must not create any others + that my payouts would be blocked for 170 days.
I currently have €1500 blocked until OCTOBER!
eBay replies to me automatically or through people I would call incompetent.
They had an EXPERT come in to verify my account, which I know nothing about.
their responses boil down to this:
Your account has been blocked for the safety of our users blah blah blah.
Except that:
1 My buyers received their items
2 they left me positive feedback and are happy with my items.
3 I find it shameful to be blocked for no reason and without any explanation.
Do you have any solutions to this problem?
Am I the only one to have suffered this harassment, not to mention this theft?

The site has established rules and makes sure they are followed...

- did you provide them...???
Your account dates from 2018 with no activity... , but only recently have you been selling... therefore ebay checks in case it is a hacked account...
If not, do it...
