€50 gift voucher
Summary: didkoz-0 shared their experience about a promotional offer from eBay, where they could receive a 50€ voucher by selling an item worth at least 10€ before July 11. Despite having sold an item for 46€ on July 8, they have not yet received the voucher. lingma85 questioned the legitimacy of the offer but later noted that a purchase over 125€ might be necessary for the voucher. didkoz-0 confirmed the email's authenticity and expressed frustration, wondering if it's misleading advertising to boost sales on eBay.
Hello, I received an email from eBay on June 11 offering me a €50 voucher if I sold an item worth at least €10 before 11/07. I sold on eBay for €46 on July 8.
As of today, July 21, I still have not received the €50 voucher that I am eagerly waiting for to make a purchase. I have contacted eBay several times by "chat" and they tell me to make my request on my good account ??? In short, eBay gives me no answer at all. Is this €50 "gift voucher" a scam ???

OP2 weeks agoI confirm that the email does indeed come from eBay. The links in it lead directly to the eBay site. I also used this email to sell items on eBay. Below is a copy of the email:
This email was sent on June 12, along with a follow-up on July 1 telling me I only had 10 days left to take advantage of the offer. I made sales with this email on July 8 and I’m still waiting for the €50 discount voucher. Is this misleading advertising from eBay, forcing you to use their site and thus increase their revenue ???.

Mentor2 weeks ago · EditedHello @didkoz-0
Have you checked the source of this email...?
because "offer 50 €" against 10 € of purchase... that's no longer ebay... it's Christmas early...
At this rate... the company will see its profits shrink like snow in the sun...
But, if it's true... that's amazing..
Regards
.

Mentor2 weeks ago · EditedDid you make a purchase of more than €125 as requested to receive the €50..?
(which would have been deducted... because it seems that this is the condition to benefit from this gift...)
