Hello, I sold an item for local pickup only.
Hello,
I sold an item for local pickup only because it weighs about 60kg. I sent him a message to arrange the handoff. He is demanding that I deliver it and refuses to come pick up the item.
Whose fault is it?? thanks

Mentor2 years agoGood evening @oukbi.24
Are you talking about one of your 2 listings completed on November 7 and 12? which one exactly? (action deadline passed for the one from the 7th)
has it been paid or not?
Best regards

OP2 years agoHello,
It's paid, but the buyer isn't coming to pick up the item after I sent him a message to arrange an in-person handoff. He opened a dispute for non-receipt of the item. A first decision yesterday in my favor without refunding the buyer. And a second decision today against me to refund the buyer.

Mentor2 years agowell yes but anyway since it was paid without withdrawal it makes sense to refund the buyer... (you’re not going to keep the item + the payment!)
the transaction should have been cancelled with a refund as soon as the delivery issue came up: that would have cancelled the site’s commission fees, waiting for the dispute was really not the right decision.

OP2 years agoHello,
In no way did I intend to keep the item + the payment
The condition of the sale is hand delivery
How can you change the rules after having read them, accepted them, paid, and demand that the seller incur costs for an unplanned delivery and without being sure he will be reimbursed

Mentor2 years agoThere was nothing to change or demand: no shipping was planned or paid for, so a transaction with shipping was impossible, therefore cancellation and refund, plain and simple!
"In no way did I want to keep the item + the payment" = in fact, we completely agree on the obligation to refund, and that the site is forcing you to do so since you didn’t do it on your own...
anyway, I don’t see what the point is of opening this thread on the forum.
