Hello, following up on a purchase on Ebay that looks like a real scam.
Purchase of a new CANON camera on the listing, but it was actually used and not in working condition.
Report to Ebay
Item number :[Référence]
ebay ORDER NO. [Référence]
Through Ebay, I also took out an Allianz warranty extension.
Item number :[Référence]
ebay ORDER NO. [Référence]
Still a scam, since there was no seller warranty, so no Allianz extension, false listing.
Allianz message: «For any information about the product's original warranty, please contact eBay customer service. »
Small detail on the seller's listing, no returns. So Ebay as well as Paypal are rubbing their hands and playing cat and mouse!!
When I got in touch with Ebay, Ebay did not want to follow up on my request for a refund from the seller « » for my purchase and the warranty extension.
I have been buying and selling through Ebay since Member since Dec-17-06. Country: France, most often with Paypal payments.
What should I do?
Thank you

Mentor2 years agoHello
There’s no mystery, really....
You make a return request for a non-compliant item within 30 days after delivery:

OP2 years agoThanks, my tigri, before the racket blow I got from Ebay, that was the path I had taken. Have a lovely evening. Best regards

Mentor2 years agoHello @rhonard
You have 30 days after receiving your device to make the "customer guarantee" apply----> eBay Customer Guarantee Policy | eBay
the warranty extension has nothing to do with the basic "guarantee" eBay offers to every buyer... it's just extra comfort and even an unnecessary payment...
The nonsense you were told is incorrect in light of the site's terms and conditions...
The "no returns" on the listing has no impact on the fact that any non-compliant product must be returned and refunded.
Best regards
